Beautiful work, and waht a terrific introduction to the country, albeit likely eccentric. Maybe not the standard tourist view. I love the wadis and wet places, Al Haumriyyah, the rock and tree root detail, and the doors, of course (when my son was a Marine in Afghanistan he focused on taking pictures of doors as well). I’m also am struck by the blue pigment seen now and then – in the scales and on the doors. So glad you followed me, leading me here.
Thank you for all the kind comments & by the way being ex-military myself, I have a great respect for the Marines of both our countries.
The blue colour keeps the Djinns away.
A collection you can be proud of David!
Kind of you to say so, thank you.

Many old favourites here. One of many that caught my eye is the Rock & Tree Root Detail for its subtle colours. Cracking images!
