Ha… yes!
especially when it is hot; fortunately there was a cooling breeze and the temperature was only about 28C.
People do swim in the lower pools, but I tend not to when I know it feeds a Falaj system.
This is indeed a rewarding climb up the falaj David. Is this the first or second pool? Each time that we visited the Wadi, a local would appear from nowhere, accompany us back to the village and invite us in for a cup of Chai. A great photo by the way. Love the colour and crispness of the shot. ( this comment may be duplicated, it didn’t seem to appear the first time):)
So fresh, and beautiful. Needed colours on this one..
Thanks & yes it does – in fact I seem to be going in a whole new direction these days ‘Colour’ it must be old age…… š

Thanks Dave – actually it was taken further up; where the (path….?!) narrows and turns left into the gorge before the climb up and over the top :).
