Probably cut with an Adze as far as I could tell, so as they go back a long way – you are right 🙂
Unfortunately everything was covered in many years of dust & grime.

These bowls must have been very popular; I have seen many over the years in ruins, all across Northern Oman. Always the same size & virtually always blue.
