Yes, but fortunately water and pools can be found 365 days of the year ‘if one knows where to look’ all be it sometimes a trek of 3 to 4 hours can be involved……. 🙂
Even the slightest rain will bring out plants and grasses – It shows what Oman must have been like in wetter periods of its history.

Ah David…colour! This is one of those photos that has to be non-mono.The layers of rock are superb and the delicate shrub really sets them off.
