I know exactly what you mean – hence my comment…. but I could not resist the delta formation of clouds: some strange wind patterns going on up there.

I just love your Oman photos! My son and I spent 10 days at the Al Bustan Palace in June 2006. We had the beach for ourselves as no one was so crazy to spend vacation in Oman when the heat is up to 49Ā° C. We liked Muscat a lot.
Still the best hotel in Muscat – June, you were brave……
