They are, but I agree about not liking them ! the one thing I always hated; seeing a Camel spider in my camp site. I was never comfortable until I moved all my stuff to another location.
Any spider in the house larger than a grain of rice made me uncomfortable. So you are not alone 🙂
Scorpions and snakes are fine and even Sharks while diving but spiders no …..!
Especially if one hits you in the chest !! which is exactly what happened to me on one dive. My late dive Buddy & I would make a point of looking for them after that – takes all the fear away when that happens 🙂
By “hits you,” do you mean the shark bit you? Or did it just bump into you?
Bump into me as I came around a large rock outcrop.
Well I imagine that gave you a bit of a fright. Better than getting bitten at least.
I’m not going to lie, spiders make me uncomfortable (though less so than in the past). But they certainly are remarkable creatures.

Haha, I’m not bothered by snakes or scorpions either. And it’d be awesome to see sharks while diving!
