Thanks Louis,
One of those images that the subconscious can see; because when I made it, I was not sure that it would work or even why I was taking it. The B&W version just didn’t work – but I am pleased with the colour and composition of this one.
Thank you – You are right, taken in the same region as the rock detail images. Trees and rocks that do not get much in the way of human contact let alone rain (but when it does come its usually flash floods then nothing for several years) just the areas I like.
Excellent textures, movement and colours.
Many thanks – taking a leaf out of your book π abstract is good.
David.
I like this – the composition, the contrasts of colour, shapes and textures.

I really like this one. I think it must work better in colour – the red in that rock for instance is a wonderful detail.
Thanks – yes it became very cluttered (everything merged together) on the version I made using T-Max B&W film.

This is wonderfully organic, David. Somehow I get the feeling it used to be a seething mass of… something, that has long dried up. Beautiful!

Great textures captured in this shot. I really like these type of images. They really are both interesting and beautiful.
I have some how been attracted to this type of image since doing more colour work – we shall see where it goes…. π
David.
Excellent.
Thank you – it is one that I can see me printing many different versions, I think it has lots of potential.
David.
You more and more take photography like this!
I welcome that idea. ItΒ΄s like abstract paintings!

I think its a phase I am going through at the moment: a bit like finding myself listening to a lot of Philip Glass & reading Umberto Eco…….
