This D800 is going to get me into trouble as I may have to eat my words. All I need is a good way of making prints other than using ink! which I don’t care what people say… is not the same as silver gelatin B&W especially seen side by side.

Maybe you could go full circle – ink-print a negative and then take that into the darkroom :).
Sounds like you might have some time ahead of you experimenting with paper and ink combinations.
Actually that is very near my thoughts, a bit like paper negatives.

Funny you should say that – this was taken on my second attempt to pick a camping area. I gave up in the end and decided to head home as the rain would not make up its mind. But I was beginning to drive through run-off and that is always a bad sign.
