My Wife is an artist and she always said “people look but they don’t see!” very true. I find this if I am not alone when I make pictures, many times I think later – gosh how did I miss that.
Using film makes for a more considerer approach, being lost by some in the digital age (machine gun the image and with luck at least one will work) with 6×6 there are 12 exposures and 4×5 one; so unless more money than sense, everyone needed to count. So I for one just use the same method with my digital camera (even using a Pentax spot meter 🙂 ) but that could be old dog – new tricks…..
