Very far past seeing paint – some carved stone but mostly plaster work.
Yes, I came across it while I was lost: not lost as such, I knew where the direction of home was. Just unable to negotiate my way around convoluted sandy tracks. Once I knew the way, it was easy finding it again. It had at some point been a large estate farm I think. Areas set out like dried-up paddy fields & lots of Palm trees.
Was there evidence of painted decoration in ‘derelict ‘ interior, or is that carved stone? I assume that you found this ruin out in the wilds?

Discovering somewhere by accident….when lost….always the best kind of discovery!

They are beautiful! I keep wondering just what it must have been like to build those walls.
Thanks – hard bloody work I expect 🙂
