There must be so much history in these old places that we don’t know about. People lived here and one can imagine, from the wonderful lens of your camera, people moving about, cooking and carrying water. There is a lovely balance in the design.

I spend a lot of time going through Royal Geographic reports from early explorers and it is surprising how much of their description of places can still be seen.
It also makes finding old villages not on any new maps easier; although Google Earth helps these days.
