  Yes and there are a lot scattered about the country. Many left by the Portuguese, who being made an offer that they dare not refuse; left (thrown out) Oman proper in 1624 & Muscat in 1650.
  There is even a cannon from the English Civil War period: nobody quite sure how it got there.
