Thanks, cannot believe how much I had tucked away in the way of negatives and files over the years out of UK.
Extraordinary. I am always amazed at the amount of beauty present in decay and destruction. This photograph is outstanding, David, especially in the way you have controlled the light, either in exposure in the camera or in processing (or both).
Thanks and yes it is always interesting going round old abandoned villages, of which Oman had a lot. I was always lucky in that a few greeting words in Arabic and taking coffee & dates with either the custodians or village elder gave me carte blanche when it came to going anywhere with my camera.
I used a combination of in-camera and processing for my print and it seemed to work ok for a screen Jpeg.
