Beautiful image; perfectly handled.
Many thanks John.
I love the vast emptiness of this shot: it draws my attention towards the lone tree perfectly, and almost makes me feel sympathy for it.
It was a really nice walk (picked & accompanied by my daughter) with a couple of fairly steep ascents. Once on the top, it was an open heathland with a scattering of trees & Bronze age tombs. Very bleak in the winter months it would seem.
That sounds like quite the walk! Bronze-age tombs would be something to see indeed.
I often chase up the people who comment on the blogs of good photographers in hopes of finding more photographers. But not just any photographers. That’s how I found you: from your comment on the bluebrightly blog. Glad I followed up. Beautiful work.
Many thanks Michael.
Love the distant tree.
Nature helping me out. 🙂
