It was a really nice walk (picked & accompanied by my daughter) with a couple of fairly steep ascents. Once on the top, it was an open heathland with a scattering of trees & Bronze age tombs. Very bleak in the winter months it would seem.

That sounds like quite the walk! Bronze-age tombs would be something to see indeed.
