Spot meter on the water and adjust for zone 8, just below paper white. Almost got away with it, although W/press jpg compression frustrates me at times.
It will end soon, at least it’s not like being in Eyam in 1665/66 or Oran in 1556, 1678 and again in 1899.
Think of it as practice for when you retire 😉

I’ve spent a career in and around print and image technology. JPEG has its place but muting tones is an issue.
