  1. I love how the built walls just blend right in. No apparent need to make one’s dwelling stand out like a sore thumb for all to see and (supposedly) admire. Some lessons for certain other parts of the world in these ruins. Fascinating subject matter – do you get right into the ruins, or are they private? It would be interesting to poke around a bit looking at construction details and so on.

      That is the one good thing here – if you take the trouble and find these places, ask if near another village then just as you put it ‘poke around’ as much as you like.
      Lots of interesting things can be found: some date back to the Bronze/Iron age.
