  1. Good policy to not chalk them in. In my area you need a heritage permit to do that, as over time it can cause wear and tear, even with something so soft. I have found that if you be at a place like this in the rain, with a circular polarising filter, that you can get a great deal out of such faint images.

    1. Rain hummm all or nothing!!! (like the last few days) I tend to stay away from the wadis due flash floods. But you have given me an idea – a spray bottle and when I have finished I can drink the rest 🙂

      1. That sounds like a great idea. I have done similar, though usually there is water nearby and I just move some of it. It has to be pretty wet, or at least I think that is the case as it is the only way I have ever done it.
