I must admit that I was pleased with it – the depth of field was a problem though. If I went larger the background intruded more than I liked.
Should maybe try a longer lens for more compression.

I should look around my bookshelves as I am sure I have one on Oman botany; never a good subject for me. All I know is they are green with pretty flowers (hopefully) a sad lack of knowledge 😦

The first flower looks very similar to one common flower of Kerala(chekki or thetti) mainly used in temples.
