Back from a months holiday in UK, not strictly a holiday: working in the garden and house maintenance……… But the weather was exceptionally good for once.

Sounds like it was not a real holiday, David. Although to me a holiday is partly about a change of routine and doing something different (to your normal workaday grind). Garden maintenance might be ‘it’ for you.

  Problems with living in a house from the early 1800’s – once in a while things need to be done that just cannot be put off any longer.
  But the weather was good and you are right, a change is as good as a rest 🙂
