It must have been a very colourful place ! Signs of blue, green, red & yellow paint everywhere.

Oh, wow, I would have loved to see it in its prime!
They must have been reasonably comfortable in this village, being able to spend so much time painting doors, walls & interiors. I have never been able to find any old photographs of this place, although it was a popular destination for early explorers. The Royal Geographical Society has some very interesting disciptions of it in the early to late 1800’s.
